We welcome Lynette Leming. Lynette has committed her career to promoting adoption and working with families in adoption. Ms. Leming has a personal connection to  adoption. She made a loving and well thought out decision to place a newborn for adoption with a family she selected many years ago. Inspired by her choice, she used this personal experience to connect with other birth parents considering adoption for their babies, as well as, support prospective parents through their adoption journey.

 

She is currently Director of Placement Service for Family Options, a licensed, non-profit, private, domestic adoption agency in Red Bank, New Jersey. Her expertise is comprised of more than 10 yrs. of adoption related work with adoptees, adoptive parents and birth parents. She presents throughout the year for various organizations, centers. universities and school districts.

The IAC Center offers individuals, couples and families a place to get professional guidance and counseling regarding family building issues. Since the Center does not do adoptions the councelors are able to offer an unbiased view of the family building and adoption options as well as help people to make well- informed timely decisions about adoption that are mindful of the long term issues involved.
Joni Mantell, LCSW (Director). Ms. Manterll can offer assistance to individuals and couples in negotiating the family building crises, decision-making and planning for resolution and in dealing with adoption issues that may occur over the course of the life cycle. She works with all members of the adoption triad.
